This was easily the warmest weekend the cities has seen since probably last October, and to celebrate I grilled on Saturday, and went for a short ride down to the Cathedral with some friends on Sunday afternoon. We stopped at the Muddy Pig on the way back for some brews, where I sampled a Southern Tier Cuvee (Series 2) Strong Ale. Was pretty darn good once it warmed up a bit, but didn’t blow my mind or anything. Plenty on the menu that I will need to go back and try, however. I also had a Le Merle (saison) on Saturday, which I’d had once on tap at Acadia. Might still be one of the best saisons I’ve tried.
