So it was pretty damn cold this week, probably the coldest I can ever remember experiencing, although I’m pretty sure it was worse while I was growing up in South Dakota. I can still remember the principal getting on the intercom at the end of the school day and warning kids not to wait outside because of -60F wind chills (South Dakotans don’t cancel school for such nonsense as ‘too cold’, apparently.) This weekend it warmed up to the 20’s and it feels balmy. Amazing how that works.
I also turned 28 this week and had roughly a week-long celebration for no real reason. Thanks to Samm and Erin for making the trip up to Mpls last night for sushi + beer, it was fun to have you guys here… and to everyone else for mutiple brewery trips (Brian and Sara get gold stars for perfect attendance.)
And now the Bush counter stands at 2 days… could we be so lucky to finally see the end of this debacle? I, too, never thought I’d see the day when this thing finally hit 0…
