sampled some pretty tasty beers this evening at acadia cafe. from left: furthermore oscura, tyranena hop whore, north coast thelonius strong ale, st bernardus quadrupel. not shown was a warm-up pitcher of VICTORY prima pils. while the oscura was a bit bizarre (an incredibly strong coffee taste that lingered absurdly), the others were great. i think i still prefer hopslam to hop whore, but i’m always a sucker for tripels/quadrupels. good stuff.
