So I cracked 200 miles on the new bike today, which is pretty good considering I haven’t taken it on any long rides yet, mostly just commuting. Barely 10 minutes before I took that picture I nearly got trucked over by some idiot woman who ran a red light. She was, of course, driving an SUV and talking on her cell phone (and was blonde), and had the audacity to give me a dirty look and start yelling. I then told her, not so politely, to look at the red traffic signal which somehow escaped her notice and she just took off down the street. This incident naturally made me wonder how much longer I can get away with dodging traffic before I finally get hit… seems inevitable really. Just have to watch out for the bad drivers, I guess.
