denverfest: day 1
well we arrived without much incident in denver this afternoon. we began the evening’s activities with a trip to a surprisingly good brewery in aurora where we sampled a number of tasty brews, including a really well-done barleywine and trippel. i was impressed. for an encore (har har?) we got relatively adventurous and went to dinner at a restaurant that steve had not tried before, but it ended up being a pleasant experience. i of course felt obligated to order the rainbow trout, which was really tasty. so far so good!
