Perhaps it was a moment of weakness, but this weekend I signed up for the Twin Cities Marathon in October. It’s one of those things that, in spite of not really enjoying running that much, I’ve always wanted to try… but just once. I now have five months to get myself into good enough condition to hold up for such a long race. And if the incredible soreness I’m experiencing...

I’ve been here just over 24 hours, and while a good chunk of that time was spent at the conference or preparing for my presentation in the afternoon (which went fine), I’ve already noticed a few things:
1) Many (but certainly not all) people here seem to be huge Palin fans. Go figure.

Just about to head to the airport, then direct flight to Anchorage. Here’s to hoping I can pass security with no problems (seems I’m a suspicious-looking character). I will be sure to tag a bunch from the true great white north!
