Thanksgiving!
Brian, Oscar, and I made it safely back to Ames last night (after braving the stand-still traffic on the way out of Mpls), and I have since enjoyed a fantastic Thanksgiving meal and subsequent nap, a walk through Moore park, and we’re about to indulge in some apple pie fresh from the oven.

Free hour is wonderful
Friday was relatively exciting; an old friend was in town and we went out with some of the old lab crew to Mayslack’s, one of our old haunts. Even though it was Halloween, we had gotten there early and had the best seats in the house (elevated table right next to the door) so that when things livened up a bit we got to survey all the costumes as they walked in the door.
